Sep 21, 2024 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
The Rotary Club of Mental Health & Wellness is excited to announce a new and impactful vocational project, and we would be honored to have you join us in bringing it to life. We are assembling essential vocational kits for 45 dedicated students enrolled in the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program. These kits will include vital tools such as stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, stopwatches, scrubs, and other supplies that will support them in their studies and training. This project is more than just providing equipment; it’s about offering hope and opportunity. The students we’re supporting come from underserved communities, and for many of them, this is their last chance— to create a better life and serve others through a career in healthcare. By coming together to assemble these kits, we are helping to empower them to succeed in their journey. We would love for you to be a part of this initiative. Your participation would not only be greatly appreciated by the students but would also demonstrate the power of community and support. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of these future healthcare professionals. For those of you that can't attend in person. Please feel free to email us some heartfelt motivational messages for the students so that we can include them in the kits on your behalf. Please join us for this special assembly event: Date: 09/21/24 Time: 1:00PM-3:00PM Location: Shaar Residence Thank you for being a part of our Rotary family and for all that you do to make our world a better place. |

You’re Invited! Distribution Day for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Kits After much planning, preparation, and your generous support, we are thrilled to announce the distribution day for the vocational kits that will empower 45 incredible students enrolled in the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program. These kits, filled with essential tools like stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, scrubs, and more, symbolize more than just equipment—they represent hope, opportunity, and the belief that every one of these students has the potential to succeed and make a lasting impact in their communities. We would be honored to have you join us as we hand over these kits to the students. This will be a day of celebration, connection, and inspiration. Your presence at this event will not only bring smiles to the faces of these future healthcare professionals but will also show them the strength and support of our Rotary community. Let’s come together to celebrate this important milestone and to wish these students well as they take the next steps in their journey. Please note, we will begin the distribution at the East LA campus, followed by a visit to the Hawthorne campus. We hope you can attend one or both of these events, as your presence will make the day even more meaningful for the students.
