Description: Mental health touches each workplace, family, and community — often in ways we don’t see. As business owners, professionals, civic leaders, volunteers, friends, and neighbors, Rotarians are uniquely positioned to help reduce stigma, normalize conversations about mental health, and spread the value of mental health literacy across the communities they serve.  Participants will learn why mental health literacy matters, how myths and stigma keep people from seeking help, and how community leaders can help create environments where people feel safer talking about mental health and accessing support. They will leave with one practical first step they can take to begin spreading mental health literacy in the places where they live, lead, work, and serve.
