There’s something special about a room full of people choosing stillness together. Our Foothills Satellite Club hosted their first fundraiser Midsummer Night's Dream Sound Bath in Los Angeles on July 26, 2026, bringing together over 20 people into a shared moment of peace.

Club Board Member Claire Blue visited the Rotary Club of Guam during her vacation in July 2026.  This club is featuring “Wellness through Rotary” this year with projects intended to highlight wellness through play, action, fellowship and community. One of the perks of being a Rotarian is we are part of a global network of 1.2 million members who welcome guests at any club meeting anywhere.

“The club, chartered last May during Mental Health Awareness Month in the U.S., is one of the first cause-based Rotary clubs to focus on mental health and wellness and was the idea of Guity Javid, the 2021-22 governor of District 5280. It’s one of a growing number of cause-based clubs around the world.”

Rachel Platten joined Stanford University students and some of our club members at an intimate event during finals week in May '26, seeking to raise awareness for mental health.  This free pop-up acoustic concert was sponsored by the Inspiring Children Foundation (ICF) – one of our club's collaborators.  Enjoy this segment from Rachel Platten's inspirational hit “Fight Song.”
